Journalists asked to adhere to ethics
Journalists have been urged to obey their profession ethics when posting their articles or comments on social forums so that to maintain credibility in the society. The advice was given by the Executive director of Tanzania Union of Press Clubs (UTPC) Mr Abubakar Karsan recently in Iringa.
Mr Karsan said that currently there are some journalists who are going against journalism ethics by posting articles that which are bias and that ethically they were not needed to be posted by professionals.
He explained that such social forums have been created so that to enable wananchi to present challenges that facing them whereby he said that journalists have to use them as a tip of strier.
Mr Karsan said that it was not wrong to journalists to comment or to post aricales on those social sites but they have to make sure that they follo ethics of ther profeesiponal by posting articles which are trea and well balanced.
"Some journalists nowadays are going against ethics by posting false articles since they know that no one will discipline them but by doing that they polluted their profession" he said
