Funded applications
In cooperation with the David Astor Journalism Awards Trust (DAJAT), TMF will be supporting the Tanzanian 2008 winner, Erick Kabendera, who will be taking part in a three month professional development programme with the Times and Independent newspapers in London, UK.

Institutional Grants
Eight institutions have been awarded with TMF's institutional grant so far. The grant goes towards supporting projects that aim to improve the quality of public interest and investigative journalism in Tanzania. The process has been competitve and we are proud to present the institutions that have been granted support from TMF:
AJAAT, TV Radio Tumaini, Arusha Press Club & TMDO, Vijana Vision Tanzania, GEMSA Tanzania, Iringa Press Club, Radio Country FM and Kilimanjaro Film Institute.
